Strawberry Sweetness!

Here is a new cupcake recipe I whipped up this morning. Chocolate with Strawberry Buttercream cupcakes. I am bringing the dessert to a dinner with friends tonight, so I thought I would try a new recipe. These beauties not only turned out gorgeous, but they taste even better made with fresh, ripe strawberries!

A Tractor Birthday Party...

Here is a preview of the inspiration elements for my baby boy's 2nd birthday tractor party coming up in a couple weeks. Colors will be royal blue, lime green and chocolate brown. We are incorporating tractors with real grass in the decor, accented with plenty of "dirt" for this super fun birthday party....We will post more pictures soon....

~Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter & Jelly Cupcake~

An ice cold glass of milk is a MUST with this delicious cupcake! Dark chocolate cake filled with raspberry and topped with a creamy peanut butter buttercream. Sure to be a favorite of "kids" of all ages! Of course, my inspiration from this cupcake came from my kids who are PB & J fans. Add dark chocolate goodness and you have perfection!

Black & White Damask and teal were the colors of choice.
White coconut cupcakes with coconut meringue topped off the centerpiece on the dessert table.
Dark Chocolate cupcakes with vanilla butter cream & Lemon cupcakes were 2 other cupcakes served.
White mums, silk ribbon and iridescent jewel beads added details to complete the decor.
Both bite size cupcakes and regular size cupcakes were served.
White, silver & teal "french dragees" provided a unique tray for mini-cupcakes. http://www.indiatree.com/ Inspiration to incorporate dragees into a display came from http://www.amyatlas.com
